Most Cardio Kickboxing classes will offer you a great workout, but they don’t really teach you any skills.  Why not?!  I mean, if you are there kicking and punching, don’t you want to actually do it right??

 

603 Karate has fixed that with the “Punch & Protect” program, a Cardio Kickboxing / Self-Defense / Total Body Workout class, all wrapped up in one package.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need any Cardio Kickboxing or Self-Defense experience to participate? 

  • Absolutely NOT!  If you are willing to walk in the door and work hard, then you are qualified.

My fitness level might not be what others is.  Will that be a problem?

  • These classes, like all of 603 Karate's classes, are designed for personal improvement.  They are non-competitive.  Just have the attitude to be a little better than you were the last time and you will do great!

I'm busy!  I work (days/nights) and I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to training.  When are your classes?  How long are they?

  • 'Punch & Protect' are designed for the busy person who still wants to get a great workout in a short amount of time.  Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6:10 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 11:00 AM.  Each class is 45 minutes long.

What equipment do I need?

  • All you need is a pair of boxing gloves (I have some for sale if you do not have any).  You will want to bring some water with you as well.  That's it!

Do I have to pay for each individual class?  How does that work?

  • You can choose a convenient monthly fee which covers all 'Punch & Protect' classes (both morning and evening classes), or you can purchase a block of 8 classes.  There is also a drop-in class fee for the occasional visitor.  But your first class is Complimentary, so you don't have to decide until you see how you like the class first.  How easy is that?
